We took nearly four years off to Cruise the South Pacific while our son was young enough to deal with his parents 24/7 but old enough to know how to hang on for dear life ;-)

It was a special time & allowed us grow as a family & individually, expanding our worldly views & touching the hearts of new found friends all throught the Polynesia Island Nations.

We've fulfilled our dreams & our hearts were touched by the kindness of nearly everyone we met.

    We truly Discovered for ourselves...

the Soul of the South Pacific & the Spirit of Aloha!

I perform my accoustic guitar when ever the occasional gig pops up but mostly play contently in the garden or our new Lanai overlook...forever developing my unique style....

I play a lot of Hawaiian Slack key tunings & use the Island's

Maui Magic to inspire new music...

When we are not doing weddings & editing pix....

    dreams of doing on Maui....

She is one who will bring you together

    through love, inspiration and music

    The ‘Giver of Delight’!

Because Bobbie Jo plays the Harp

(a cousin of the ancient Lyre and Cithara)

    and various flutes

crystal glass, Peruvian, Native American, Mayan, etc...

she is the perfect candidate to be YOUR Marrying Muse ;-)

Erato is the Muse of lyric poetry, especially love and erotic poetry.

In the Orphic hymn to the Muses, it is Erato who charms the sight.

Since the Renaissance she is often shown with a wreath of  myrtle and roses, holding a lyre, or a small kithara, a musical instrument that

    Apollo or she herself invented

    In Simon Vouet's representations (illustration)

two turtle-doves are eating seeds at her feet.

Other representations may show her holding a golden arrow

reminding one of the "eros", the feeling that she inspires in everybody

and at times she is accompanied by the god Eros, holding a torch.

    Euterpe (pron.: /juːˈtɜrpiː/;Greek: Eὐτέρπη [efˈterpi]

Ancient Greek: [eu̯térpɛː]; "rejoicing well" or "delight" from Ancient Greek εὖ (well) + τέρπειν terpein (to please))

    was one of the Muses

the daughters of Mnemosyne, fathered by Zeus.

    Called the "Giver of delight"

when later poets assigned roles to each of the Muses

she was the muse of music

In late Classical times she was named

Muse of Lyric Poetry and depicted holding a Flute

A few say she invented the aulos or double-flute

    though most mythographers credit

    Marsyas with its invention.
