Hipnautical was the name of the sailboat my wife Bobbie jo, son Robin & I
sailed for nearly 8 years, nearly four years spent cruising
far & remote watery worlds between California & New Zealand
The first song 'Good Enough', tells our story of fantastic Sailing Adventures....
Days so good that if another day like those never come around again....
well, that would still be 'Good Enough'...
we've had enough sailing fun to last a lifetime ;-)
...Of course we can never get enough 'time on the water' &
thanks to my coolest Maui Friends Barry & Sam we get to
step off land & go sailing here on Maui
The only thing we don't like about sailing 'OUT' of Lahaina....
is that we have to sail Back to Lahaina....We just want to keep sailing on ;-)
But when we returned to the docks in Lahaina
we were blessed with a grand Rainbow display
We'll be back to voyaging the world's oceans again...
once we've re-positioned 'Heaven & Earth' in such a manner
that allows for these dreams to come around again
but for now it's time to have fun in the
Luv Biz ;-) ...

This is an Ad Lib Jam session I happen to record in July of 1991.
We were rehearsing for my Monday Budz 'Which Wayz Out!?' album,
a heavy metal jass fusion instrumental album featuring,
Paul Lamb on bass
Mark Emerson on Drums
& me noodling all over the place on Electric Guitar.
Nope these are not the songs for the album, just a warm up to the very rippy note heavy produced album.
this nearly hour long jam was completely made up on the spot,
a Live Composition.
We all felt a strange 'out of body' feeling....
at times hovering above & looking down at ourselves jammin'.
The music flows like an ocean wave, sometimes calm & gentle, other times building to extreme Heavy Weather ;-O
I call this Jam The Monday Budz - 'Over The Edge'
Yup, it's over the edge...& so are some of the notes :-O
Playing notes in keys that are only visible in space....or...being Spaced ;-)
So out of about a zillion notes & got a few dozens notes that are 'Over the Edge'
& Oh yea,

For a bit less you can be married at the private Helicopter access château, then flown back to continue the honeymoon anywhere.
For those with a wee bit more budget...Starting at $8,000 ...
Take a short tour of Maui then fly over to the 'big island' & land at a private ranch where a 4x4 SUV will take you to a private water fall & The Maui Marrying Man & his Marrying Muse will perform a wondrous personal heartfelt ceremony complete with professional photos & optional video.
Other options include:
Touring Maui & or Molokai then landing at your hotel (with a regulation helicopter pad landing),
there we can be waiting to have a romantic wedding at or near your hotel.
If you have permission from private land owners to land, we may be able to arrange these landings as well; otherwise landings on the remote parts of Maui are restricted to airports, private land owners & the special Helicopter Access Honeymoon Château.

...So being Reverends... we can't ride in a HELL-icopter....
It's gotta be a HEAVEN-icopter ;-)
Seems like most of Maui is only accessible by helicopter,
indeed the most awesome scenery in Maui can't even be hiked to!
We've lived here over two years & we didn't even dream there were so many amazing views to be seen.
This is a six camera shoot, the helicopter has 4 built in camers & creates a really nice video
(although it is offered currently only as a quaint little DVD image box, it's the little video box....but still stunning with the pilots informative narrative!)
Bobbie Jo worked the GoPro camera, shooting at 1920x 1080 HD resolution with a wide angle lens & I shot professional still pix with a Canon 5D Mark 3 camera & 300mm lens.
The pictures are awsome enough however keep in mind we're shooting thru the plastic bubble of the helicopter's curved windows so optical distortion here needs to be overlooked.
Note to folks that really want some vivid imiges:
Request the 'Doors Off' package. You'd have to book the whole helicopter for at least an hour $$$ but worth the priceless pix!
Landing anywhere is prohibited but we have researched all the heavenicopters here on Maui & found the absolutely coolest of 'em all, they even have their own private Honeymoon Chateau.
You could be taken on a magic carpet tour of your choosing, then flown to a secluded Honeymoon Chateau where we would perform your perfect Dream Wedding in total seclusion. Then after heaps of pictures & optional videos, everyone would fly away & leave the Honeymoon couple to enjoy their wonderful solitude on a mountain hide away...& oh yea, fully catered with great food & lot's of libations for your private celebrations ;-)
